Mental health had recently been a focal point for many industries and its time that we discuss the mental disorder that most of your favorite mainstream and underground artist deal with. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder seems to be common amongst creatives. Ambition can often lead to distractions when a person's ability to have aspirations is overactive. The world of an artist may seem scattered, to the average person, filled with endless ideas, obligations, and unfinished projects.

Underground artists are more effected by this because many of them lack a working team that can put into action their many ideas. Mainstream artist with record deals and a corporate budget are able to funnel their ideas through different sets of teams and have them executed. As an underground artist it is up to that individual to produce the overflowing ideas. This can be overwhelming if there is no established team and support, and can trigger other mental disorders such as Depression and BD (Bipolar Disorder). A person begin feeling very secure about their idea whether it is for a new music video, photo shoot, or merch endeavor until the weight of gathering all the resources starts to weigh down on them and the load becomes too heavy.
It is strongly suggested that all underground artist curate a team of supporters to help manifest the many ideas and projects that are desired to be achieve. Whether you know it or not, you have some fans out there that are willing to help you organize and execute for your upcoming projects. Get your fans involved!
That means having polls and calls to actions on what your fans want to see from you and get the dedicated few to help head the organization on how to make it a reality. Things like music video shoots can be done by hosting a party themed to the music video and have all your fans come out and be apart of it. They could volunteer help be your behind the scenes crew and be in the music video. People want to feel like they are being apart of something bigger than themselves and you can be that. Once you get your solid team, they can be the key to productivity and ultimate engagement from your audience.
The way your brain patterns operate do not have to stop you from being great! Once you understand your patterns you can add adjustments and exercises to your routine that will help push forward your productivity. Making check list with realistic deadlines is a great start. Sometimes all we need is a little more structure. These same brain patterns are what help us bee our creative selves. Not bound by anything but the limits of our imaginations. What true bliss it is to create and be in the flow, it is a sacred space to reside in.
Knowing and balancing yourself are the key to accomplishing your goals!
